Research Assistants (Temporary)

£16,137 to £17,985 (pro-rata)

We occasionally have the need to appoint temporary research assistants to support the work of Melyn Consulting on a number of specific projects.

The ideal persons are mature (in attitude), willing to listen and to learn and to be able to work on their own initiative. 

Because of the kind of work we do, successful candidates will have excellent inter-personal skills including a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate appropriately with a whole range of people - ranging from childminders in Brixton to chief executives in Cardiff.

A lot of out work involves collecting and collating data. Some of it we get ourselves - through surveys, interviews and consultation - some of it we have to interpret from a range of other sources. Good I.T. skills are therefore a pre-requisite for this post. 

We are not your everyday kind of organisation and we put a lot of emphasis in achieving a good work-life balance. A range of highly flexible working options are available for the right person. This may include the possibility of  term-time only work, a mixture of home and office based work, flexi-time and TOIL.
