Wetland Walk

Circular walk along flat ground

This trail branches off from Trail 2 which starts beside the public toilets in the centre of the village. Follow Trail 2 and the River Crafnant before crossing the river at the footbridge. The trail follows a short circuit around the flood defences or 'Cob'. You will pass the Princes' Arms Hotel which is sited just above the old Trefriw quay, from where, during the last centuries, trade and pleasure craft would ply trade between the village and the port of Conwy.

This trail has gates rather than stiles throughout.

Please keep dogs under control as there is often livestock in these fields.
